Tomb Sweeping Festival dates back to the Spring and Autumn Period. The traditional tomb-sweeping day falls on April 5th in China.

The Qing Ming festival is a day of reverence for Chinese. Burn joss paper on the Tomb-Sweeping Day for deceased relatives. 

People hold ceremonies for ancestors and sweep their tombs on April 4th or 5th every year.

Joss paper is burned on Chinese traditional funerals or ancestor worship ceremonies. Burn joss paper, pay respect to remember them.

Also can call it Cold Food Festival, because people eat cold food on this day worshiping ancestors in honor. Sweet green rice ball is the main food in Tomb Sweeping Festival.
