China International Textile Fabrics and Accessories Expo was founded in 1995. Since its establishment, it has been adhering to the principles of professionalism and trade, serving enterprises, industries and markets, and has won unanimous praise from exhibitors, visitors and industry professionals. It was initially held in Shanghai every autumn, and later expanded to hold intertextile series surface accessories exhibitions in Shanghai in March and September and in Shenzhen in November. The China International Textile Fabrics and Accessories (Spring and Summer) Expo held in Shanghai in March every year has the largest scale of 182,000 square meters in recent years, with nearly 4,000 exhibitors from about 30 countries and regions. As the world's largest professional textile and accessories exhibition, intertextile's vigorous development for more than 20 years has witnessed the rapid development of China's textile and garment industry.

Since 2015, intertextile China International Textile Fabrics and Accessories (Spring Summer) Expo has joined hands with Yarnexpo China International Textile Yarn (Spring Summer) Exhibition, CHIC China International Clothing and Accessories Expo (Spring), PH Value China International Knitting (Spring Summer) Expos and other industry chain upstream and downstream brand exhibitions are held in Shanghai at the same time and at the same place in March every year. As the unique joint fleet of exhibitions in the global textile industry chain, it presents new products, new technologies, new models, new trends and new ideas in the textile field in an all-round way, promotes the healthy and sustainable development of the industry, and works together to open up a new development pattern.
